Spools
Install Spools, connect a Drive, and work with your files.
Spools mounts a cloud Drive in Finder. You need a General Motion account with Spools access. Join the waitlist if you do not have it yet.
- Install and connect on Mac — macOS 26.4 or newer; one Drive at a time.
- Use Spools with Premiere — import from the mounted Drive; keep project files local.
- Connect your AI app — find and read files.
Browser
- Open Spools and sign in.
- Select your organization and Drive. A personal organization starts with Main.
- Upload files, then wait for them to finish.
- To open them in Finder, connect that Drive on Mac.
Some Drives are read-only.
