title: Work with an AI agent
description: Let an AI agent upload cuts to Green Light, read the feedback, and make the next cut.

An AI agent can work through a Green Light review the way an editor does. It uploads a cut and you review it. It reads your notes and the frames you drew on, makes the changes, and uploads the next cut. You need a General Motion account, and the agent needs to connect to the General Motion MCP server.

## Connect your agent

Pick your agent. Each one asks you to sign in with your General Motion account the first time.

### Claude Code

```bash
claude mcp add --transport http general-motion https://generalmotion.studio/mcp
```

Then start Claude Code, run `/mcp`, and sign in to **general-motion**.

### Codex

```bash
codex mcp add general-motion --url https://generalmotion.studio/mcp
codex mcp login general-motion
```

### Cursor

Add this to `~/.cursor/mcp.json`, then sign in when Cursor asks:

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "general-motion": { "url": "https://generalmotion.studio/mcp" }
  }
}
```

### Claude, ChatGPT, and other apps

Add a custom connector or remote MCP server with this URL, then sign in:

```text
https://generalmotion.studio/mcp
```

See [MCP](/storage/mcp) if the app asks for a connection type or the sign-in fails.

## Hand a review to the agent

Open the review in Green Light and click **Copy for agent**. Paste the text into your agent. It names the review and the current cut, and tells the agent how to read the feedback, upload the next cut, and wait for you.

To start a new review instead, ask the agent to create a project and upload its render.

## A round of review

1. The agent uploads a cut, or gives Green Light a link to one, such as a cloud storage link, and Green Light fetches it. Linked files can be up to 16 GiB. The agent can leave a note saying what changed.
2. You watch it, comment on frames, and draw on the picture.
3. Click **Request changes** when you finish the round, or **Approve** when the cut is done. The agent waits for this.
4. The agent reads every open note, looks at the frames you drew on, makes the changes, and uploads the next cut. Open notes carry over to it.
5. The agent replies on the notes it addressed. Resolve them when you agree.

The agent does not see its own replies as new feedback, so you can keep talking in the same threads.
